The following qualifies as a Community Inclusion activity:

Martin tells you that he went to a baseball game with his brother over the weekend. This was Martin’s choice (person-directed) that took place at a public stadium (integrated and community based). Thus, this activity would meet criteria as a Community Inclusion activity. The activity does not have to be supported by or originate with the help of agency personnel.


The following does NOT quality as a Community Inclusion activity:

Alice invites friends to her house every Wednesday evening to play cards. She refers to this as her Card Club. This activity is chosen by Alice (person-directed) and may or may not be integrated, but it is held at a private residence (not community-based). Thus, it would not meet criteria as a Community Inclusion activity.
