The following qualifies as an example of an individual meeting the Community Inclusion Outcome:

Latasha chooses to attend vacation Bible camp at her local church for a week during early June. The camp is open to all church members. This activity is held at the local church (community-based), chosen by Latasha (person-directed), and open to the public (integrated). The activity qualifies as a Community Inclusion activity. It falls in spiritual category, and she attended at least three times. Thus, Latasha has met the Community Inclusion outcome for the year.

The following does NOT quality as meeting the Community Inclusion Outcome:

Joe chooses to attend camp at Camp Sunnyside for a week in June. The camp is run by Easter Seals for people with disabilities. This activity is chosen by Joe (person-directed), but it is held at an agency facility (not community-based) and participants are all individuals with disabilities (not integrated). Although he attends at least three times, the activity is not a qualifying activity and Joe would not meet the Community Inclusion outcome for the year based on this activity.
